We are focused on improving animal welfare in the foodservice industry; minimizing negative environmental, social or ethical impacts when sourcing products; and ensuring that human rights are respected in our operations and across our supply chain.
Planet
Protecting the health of our planet is essential to Sysco’s business and fulfilling our Purpose. We are driving collaboration to accelerate climate action in our industry. By reducing our emissions, advancing sustainable agriculture practices, and diverting waste from landfills, we will protect our planet and preserve its resources for future generations.
Sysco is the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers who prepare meals away from home. Its family of products also includes equipment and supplies for the foodservice and hospitality industries. With over 69,000 associates, the company operates approximately 325 distribution facilities worldwide and serves more than 650,000 customer locations.
